Submersible Pump Seals is a device used to prevent mixing or leaking of liquid inside and outside a pump. They have the following types and characteristics:
1.Single/Double Mechanical Seals: Uses a single spring-disc design capable of accommodating axial offset, vibration and shock loads. They are usually made of materials such as silicon carbides or carbon ceramics and have resistance to wear, high temperature, and corrosion.
2.Conductivity probes and float switches: Used to monitor leaks in the bottom of the pump or in the volume of sealed isolation liquids. When the liquid reaches a certain level, they signal or cut off the power supply to prevent further damage.
3.Oil seals: Used to provide additional waterproof and sand protection between the impeller and shaft, extending the life of the mechanical seal.
